We soon left the rain behind and arrived in time for a picnic lunch. 6j then went straight into role as Victorian children off to school while the rest of us headed to Ironbridge. We enjoyed the afternoon painting, composing poetry and pondering the past while watching the river flow in full spate under Ironbridge itself. Now we've arrived at Preston Montford and are settling in before an evening of fun activities and a full night's sleep! All well and happy!
